1. Test The Waters: Public Agency La Metro

Grenoble-Alpes Métropole, or short La Metro, is the public agency responsible for water, sewage, public transport, public roads and garbage collection in the east of France. The water team was facing an enormous challenge, being in charge of providing clean water to nearly half a million people yet relying on pen and paper for their daily operations. Their need: a tracking system that would also work offline, as the agents spend a lot of time in the field.  

In a matter of six weeks, an enterprise scale tracking solution was set up that allows field agents to log in their findings offline. The app stores the site reports in the agent’s mobile device until it’s online again, and then syncs all the operations with the main database. The web interface of the application allows managers to follow their team’s daily operations and work with the data collected. The results: improved efficiency, centralized data and two years worth of operational data by now.  

2. With Bubble to Success: CircleHome

The start up’s idea was simple: matching travelers with other travelers to swap their homes for vacation. But as with all good ideas, you need funding  to make them happen, and so the two Spanish founders needed something that would help them achieve that. With no coding experience, they started to built a prototype of their business platform with Bubble which got them into one of Europe’s biggest startup accelerators and on top succeeded in a pre-seed funding round.  

Even without technical knowledge, the founders were able to build a platform that not only incorporates marketplace with the available homes, but also manages user profiles in more than 10 countries. They continued to expand CircleHome with Bubble themselves, with the no-code platform being very self-explanatory, and are sure to keep doing so, wherever CircleHome ends up next.  

3. Language Learning Made Fun: Beelango

A little over 10 years ago, Beelango’s founder embarked on a mission to convert printed language textbooks as we know them from school into fun online language courses. Teaching Arabic and Hebrew, two quite complex languages, it was important to built a platform that could host interactive content such as activities and quizzes to really engage users and keep them going.  

Thanks to the flexible use of Bubble, a smart e-learning platform was developed that teaches the more than 100k users how to read, write and speak. There are about 100 activities, videos and recording exercises, making the maximal use of Bubble’s easy-to -navigate builder.  

4. Inclusive Beauty: Nunotions

Founder Marjai Roberts detected a need in the beauty market which was not yet met: a platform to find and compare products which takes into account your physical traits. This way one can make sure to buy a product that benefits their skin- or hair type and avoids wasting money on half-used products. That’s when Roberts came up with Nunotions.

In order to build the inclusive review platform, she set up a system with Bubble in which users select their physical features traits like hair texture, skin tone or eye color. This helps the users to make informed purchases, taking into account that especially for people of color it is often difficult to find products that match their needs. Furthermore they can connect with friends, review products and save their favorites. Thanks to Bubble’s simple but powerful capabilities, further community features are planned to convert Nunotions into the largest destination for inclusive beauty reviews.
